Terms of Service

1. The service

Songifted ("we", "us") lets you create personalized songs generated with AI from the details you provide. A free 45-second preview is available for your first song per email address; full-length songs are unlocked with paid credits.

2. Payments and credits

Credits are one-time purchases processed by Stripe. Credits never expire and are not a subscription — nothing renews automatically. One credit unlocks one full-length song, including the MP3 download, a shareable gift page, and one lyric revision on request.

3. Your content

You confirm that the names, stories and messages you submit don't violate anyone's rights and aren't unlawful, hateful or harassing. We may decline to generate content that violates this policy.

If you upload a photo as a song cover, you confirm you have the right to use that photo and that everyone identifiable in it has agreed to appear on a page you may share. Uploaded photos are stored by us and served on the gift page for that song at a link that anyone holding it can open. You can replace or delete the photo at any time from your song page; deleting it removes the file from our storage, though copies already cached by messaging apps or social networks are outside our control. We may remove any uploaded photo or submitted text that we believe violates these terms.

4. Prohibited content

Some things are never allowed here — in a photo you upload, or in the names, stories and messages you submit:

• Any sexual content involving a minor, including AI-generated, drawn or edited imagery. Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
• Nudity, sexually explicit imagery, or content intended to be sexually suggestive.
• Intimate or sexualized images of anyone who has not agreed to appear on a page you may share, and any image used to harass, shame, threaten or extort a person.
• Graphic violence or gore, and content that celebrates or incites harm.
• Hateful content targeting people by race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• A person's photo used to impersonate them, to suggest they endorsed something, or in any way a reasonable person would find deceptive.
• Anything you don't hold the rights to — someone else's photographs, artwork or other copyrighted material.

Uploaded images are automatically scanned against known child sexual abuse material. Where we find prohibited content we may remove it, disable the song page, and close the account without a refund; where the law requires it we will preserve and report the material along with the account details attached to it.

5. Your rights to the songs

Once unlocked, you may download, share and play your song for personal, non-commercial use — gifting it to the person it was written for is exactly the point. Commercial use (advertising, resale, streaming monetization) requires our written permission.

6. AI-generated content

Songs are AI-generated. We aim for quality but can't guarantee any particular artistic outcome. You always hear a 45-second preview of the actual song before paying to unlock it.

7. Refunds

Because you preview the actual song before unlocking it, unlocked songs are generally non-refundable. If generation fails, the credit is returned automatically. For anything else, email us — we're reasonable people.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
